U.S. Border Patrol agents seized bundles of marijuana after following footprints, which lead them to an open window.

The abandoned residence in Starr County had 926 pounds of marijuana inside.

After looking through the open window, U.S. Border Patrol agents spotted the bundles of marijuana in plain view.

The marijuana was confiscated on Saturday around 2 a.m. on the 4200 block of La Rosita Street in La Rosita, Texas.

Border Patrol agents notified Starr County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA) and secured a search warrant.
