Another 8-liner was raided in Willacy County, and it is the second arcade that has been shut down in two weeks for illegal gambling.
Sheriff deputies, DPS troopers and Willacy County Constables assisted the District Attorney TMs office in shutting down the Lyford 8-liner yesterday afternoon.
The sheriff believes the illegal business located off business 77 had been running for two days before being forced to close its doors.
Authorities seized 30 machines, $675 in gift cards, and just shy of $300 in cash at the "Lucky Barn" arcade.
The sheriff said illegal gambling is not welcome in the Willacy County.
"It TMs going to continue. If they do it illegally, we're going to be knocking on their door," Sheriff Larry Spence said.
The sheriff said there were also twelve patrons inside, and they were photographed and released.
No arrests were made during the 8-liner raid.
