Federal agent, Marco Rodriguez's multiple charges have been dropped after claimed his innocence for almost eight months.
Attorney's for Rodriguez said that justice has been served.
Documents stated that Rodriguez has been a federal agent for the last 16 years and for the last three, he has served under the department of Homeland Security as an inspector for the office of inspector general.
Rodriguez and his supervisor Eugenio perez were indicted for falsifying records, obstructing justice and conspiracy in April 2013.
Both men were arrested and paid a $50,000 bond.
Rodriguez never took a plea.
The department of Justice Public Intergrity's office decided this month the case should be dismissed.
Rodriguez's attorney's told Action 4 that they are going to do everything can to restore his good name.
