Nearly 1,000 pounds of cocaine are off the streets after a seizure in Pharr Friday afternoon.
According to the Pharr Police Department, police got a tip that a home at 126 West Jones had weapons and narcotics inside.
Police said an elderly man at the house allowed police to search the home.
Inside police reportedly found 383 bricks of cocaine, totaling 442 kilograms.
The drugs were said to be turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
