An anonymous tip led Starr County HIDTA investigators and Rio Grande City police to over 6,000 pounds of marijuana in a Garceno neighborhood.
Investigators told Action 4 News that they received and anonymous tip that drugs were being stored inside a home in Garceno.
They launched an investigation and on Friday afternoon went into the home with a search warrant.
Inside investigators found 848 bricks of marijuana wrapped in brown tape.
The estimated street value of the 6,380 pounds of marijuana is worth just over $5.1 million dollars.
The case remains under investigation and officers believe more arrests will be made.
