Over 9,000 residents without power in Hidalgo County

Fri, 24 Jan 2014 14:45:57 GMT — A major power outage in Hidalgo County is affecting thousands of residents in the area right now.According to AEP Texas's website the upper valley currently has over 9,000 customers without electricity.Meanwhile in Cameron County a little over 900 people are being affected over there.Crews are currently working to restore power.
