Police make arrests for January shooting outside Sunrise Mall

Authorities have made two arrests for a shooting that took place outside Brownsville's Sunrise Mall in January.

Brownsville police arrested 19-year-old Ulises Bab Perez and a juvenile suspect on unlawful carrying a weapon charges.

The two were among three suspects trying to sell stolen guns in the mall parking lot.

An argument led to one person being shot in the shoulder in the parking lot of Dillard's.

Police recovered the weapons from the incident.

Investigators told Action 4 News that a third juvenile suspect is expected to be arrested for his involvement on Tuesday.
