      POLICE: Man watched porn on UTB computer

      A 19-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly watched pornography in a UTB computer lab.

      UTB police arrested Omar Rivera on an indecent exposure charge on Wednesday.

      Court records show that police were called to the Science, Engineering & Technology Building lab around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday.

      A woman allegedly saw that Rivera had made a mess and then zip up his pants while he at a computer station.

      Rivera allegedly told the officer he was watching pornography on a computer when he became aroused.

      The 19-year-old he touched himself to calm himself down.

      Rivera appeared before Cameron County Magistrate Court Judge Patricia Edelstein on Thursday morning where he received a $1,500 dollar bond.

      Under state law, indecent exposure is a Class B misdemeanor punishable up to six months in jail and up to a $2,000 dollar fine.
