Police: Raymondville ISD student arrested after threatening to "shoot up the school"
Raymondville ISD police Chief Oscar Gutierrez confirms that a 15-year old Raymondville High School student was arrested Friday after threatening to "shoot up the school."
Gutierrez says the comment was made to another classmate sometime Friday morning. The classmate then advised school administration.
The student, who has not been identified, remains at the Daryl Hester Juvenile Detention Center.
He will be charged with terroristic threat, Gutierrez said.
