A mother and Harlingen police are currently looking for a 15-year-old who has been gone for at least two days.
Harlingen police confirm they are assisting the mother in her search for the teen, and a police report has been made.
Ashley Marie Fuentes has not been home for over 48 hours.
Fuentes mother, Mirtha Martinez, said she was seen getting in a black Jeep near Primera Road.
She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, green pants, a pink jacket and Vans shoes.
Fuentes is 5 feet tall, has brown eyes and brown hair.
I feel my daughter is in danger, Martinez said.
Martinez said her daughter is in need of her medication.
She believes her disappearance may be due to a pending criminal case involving a male.
Harlingen police confirm the case is classified as a runaway.
