Powerball grows to $360 million, Mega Millions to $190 million

Lotto fever is sweeping the Rio Grande Valley as the jackpots for two games continue to grow making the next winner a multi-millionaire.

Both the Powerball and Mega Millions lotteries have jackpots that have grown to nine digits.

Powerball has gone 12 drawings over the past six weeks without a winner growing the jackpot to $360 million dollars.

Tonight's Powerball jackpot is the seventh largest jackpot in United States history and has a cash payout of $229.2 million.

The Mega Millions lottery has gone 18 drawings over the past nine weeks without a winner and grown to $190 million dollars.

Winning numbers for the Powerball are drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays while Mega Millions is on Tuesdays and Fridays.

If no there is no winner for the Powerball tonight, lottery officials say the jackpot will grow to $475 million dollars.
