Surveillance Photos of the Suspects

Authorities have released preliminary autopsy results in the death of a woman who was caught in the crossfire of a shooting in a west Harlingen neighborhood.

Preliminary autopsy results show that 21-year-old Mayra Bianey Oyervides died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Cameron County Pct. 3-1 Justice of the Peace Manuel Flores listed her time of death as 6:49 p.m. Monday.

Harlingen police reported that Oyervides was caught in the crossfire of a shooting off Wright and South G Streets around 6 p.m. Monday.

Investigators arrested 27-year-old Los Fresnos woman Dorothy Lee Sanchez as the getaway driver but two unidentified men remain wanted as suspects.

Family members told Action 4 News that Oyervides was engaged and pregnant.

But autopsy results show that medical tests showed she was not pregnant at the time of her death.

Action 4 News spoke to family members who said her parents and fiance were at the Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen as well as planning her funeral.
