Raise a Pint While Learning About Brownsville History

Why not take a trip back in time this weekend, while having a little fun?

The Historic Brownsville Museum offers a glimpse into the history of Brownsville, one of the oldest cities in the Valley.

Located in the old Southern Pacific Depot building, the museum, opening in 1986, is a Texas Historical Marker and is also on the National Register of Historic Places.

It includes several exhibits, ranging from the earliest military fort in the area to an art gallery.

The non-profit organization will host a fundraiser this weekend, a perfect last minute gift for dad!

Their 3rd annual Pint Night will feature over 40 varieties of beer courtesy of L&F Distributors.

Maribel Guerrero with the HBM, and Jay Perez, with L&F, joined Sunrise this morning to discuss the event.
