Ramon Ayala to hold free benefit concert in Brownsville

Norteño star Ramon Ayala is donated a autographed accordion and two guitars to raffle off to raise money for four sick people

Norteo star Ramon Ayala is expected to hold free benefit concert in Brownsville on Sunday, November 6th.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio is helping to organize the event.

Sheriff Lucio told Action 4 News that the concert was set up to raise money for four very ill people.

Ayala donated an autographed accordion and two autographed guitars to raffle away as a fundraier.

Sheriff Lucio said there are only 20 raffle tickets but each one costs $500 dollars.

Lucio said eight tickets have been sold already but the $10,000 dollars they will raise will go to the four people.

Ayala is expected to take the stage with Michael Salgado and three other acts at the Brownsville Sports Park from 3 to 8 p.m. on Sunday November 6th.
