Record reward for Weslaco man on Texas Most Wanted list

Authorities are offering a ecord reward for a Weslaco man on the Texas Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Gaspar E. Loya III is wanted on multiple criminal charges ranging from murder to DUI.

On Friday, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced it is offering a $20,000 dollar reward for his capture during the month of March.

The Weslaco man is wanted on murder, assault, indecency with a child by contact, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, obstructing police, burglary of a habitation, vehicle theft, forgery and DUI charges.

Loya goes by the aliases include Basper Loya, Jesus Espinoza Dominguez, Jesus Dominguez-Espinoza, Gasper Loya and Pipo.

The Weslaco man has tattoos on his back, abdomen, chest, left hand and right thigh, and a scar on his left arm.

DPS officials reported that Loya's last known address was in Weslaco but he is known to travel to Mexico.
