A 14-year-old runaway has been found after being missing for days.
After Action 4 News posted the alert, an anonymous tip lead Harlingen police to a home where Cameron Jade Hernandez was believed to be staying.
Hernandez is now back in San Benito in police custody.
She will either be released back to the family or be placed in a juvenile detention center, according to Detective Rogelio Banda with the San Benito Police Department.
Family members last saw Hernandez at their home on the 1100 block of South McCullough Street back on Thursday, April 10th.
It is not clear whether the person she was with will be charged, but under the Texas Penal Code, it is against the law to harbor a runaway child under the age of 18-years-old.
The case remains under investigation at this time.
