San Antonio man accused of stealing car to 'take care of some business' in McAllen
Investigators have arrested a San Antonio man accused of stealing a car to "take care of some business" in McAllen — after he was caught transporting immigrants, according to court records.
Ray Rivera, 31, stole a car belonging to his ex-girlfriend's mother and said he had to "take care of some business" in McAllen, according to court records.
That same day, investigators say they arrested Rivera in connection with an immigrant smuggling case in South Texas. The ex-girlfriend helped investigators identify Rivera as the man who stole the car.
Rivera is charged with theft and bringing in and harboring aliens.
