School district leaders have completed their investigation into allegations of bullying within the cheerleading team at San Benito.
Just two weeks ago, we spoke to one of the cheerleaders on the San Benito High School Squad.
She said she was being bullied by her senior teammates because of her prosthetic leg.
Action 4 brought Alexandria Hernandez's concerns to the district earlier this month.
The district told us they would look into the matter and late this afternoon, we received a statement from the district.
San Benito CISD said it has finished an internal investigation into the allegations and that it took immediate measures in an effort to give all parties involved an opportunity to voice their individual concerns.
But the district reported the allegations regarding the cheerleader scandal have been determined to be unsubstantiated.
The school district said it TMs working diligently to ensure that the school environment continues to be a safe, nurturing and academically focused one for all its students.
Action 4 reached out to Alexandria TMs family members.
They TMre not pleased by the decision and were waiting to hear back from the school district.
They told us they TMre disappointed they didn't hear the news from the school first.
The family is still considering seeking possible legal action.
