San Benito man hits wife with boots and punches his own child
A San Benito man is behind bars after he allegedly punched his wife and hit his son.
Carlos Mancillas Jr. allegedly pulled his wife TMs hair and punched her several times with a closed fist.
During the altercation, their son became scared and intervened, so she attempted to carry him away, but her husband allegedly kept punching her.
He allegedly struck their son on the right side of his face, on his chest and on his shoulder.
Mancillas TMs wife allegedly said he appeared to be highly intoxicated and under the influence of drugs.
According to court documents obtained by Action 4 News, the 27-year-old allegedly hit his wife ten times and hit her with his boots.
Mancillas was booked at the Cameron County Jail and his bond was set at $7,500 for injury to a child and $2,500 for assault family violence.
