A tutor at Santa Maria Middle School is out on bond after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Cameron County Sheriff's Department deputies arrested 19-year-old Eduardo Ramos on an enticing a child charge on Thursday.

Court records released Saturday show he allegedly started a romantic relationship with a 12-year-old girl he was tutoring.

Ramos allegedly started texting the girl at the beginning of June and got her to sneak out of her house at least twice.

The 19-year-old tutor allegedly had inappropriate contact with the girl.

Court records show that the girl allegedly sent Ramos pictures of herself in her bra and underwear.

The girl's mother found out about what happened because the girl forgot to put a screen back over her window.

The mother reported what had been going on to deputies.

Cameron County Jail records show that Ramos was released Friday on a $25,000 dollar bond.
