Nationally-syndicated talk show host Sean Hannity got a first-hand look at border security along with RIo Grande River with Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
The conservative talk show host flew in a helicopter and rode in a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) patrol boat with the governor.
The visit comes amid the ongoing immigration crisis as thousands of women and children
Perry posted to his Twitter account that he was at a border security meeting in Weslaco on Thursday morning.
The governor left the meeting and went on a helicopter tour of Anzalduas Park just south of Mission and then a boat patrol of the Rio Grande River.
Local media were not allowed but Fox News radio and TV host Sean Hannity was allowed with Perry.
Hannity posted pictures of the tour with Perry to his Twitter account.
The talk show host is setting up at 710 KURV AM in McAllen where he is expected to broadcast for his nationally-syndicated show at 3 p.m. today.
Perry is expected to a guest on Hannity's nationally-syndicated television show at 10 p.m. tonight.
