Season ends for Texans head coach

According to reports, Gary Kubiak is no longer the head coach for the Houston Texans.

Around the League reports that Kubiak has been fired after the team lost their 11th consecutive game Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

According to, Houston Texans announced the decision this morning.

Kubiak was in his eighth season as the Texans head coach.

Around the League reported that Wade Phillips, the defensive coordinator will be the interim coach.

According to Around the League, Kubiak TMs health became an issue after he suffered a mini-stroke during week 9 of the season, where the Texans played against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Texans will face the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans during the remainder of the season.
