Four suspected gang members and a woman are behind bars after two rivals were brutally beaten with a tire iron and other weapons.

It all happened at a home off Northgate Avenue in San Juan.

San Juan police arrested Derick Reyna, Rogelio Rodriguez and brothers Julio and Angel Garcia for the crime.

Officers charged all of them with aggravated assault and engaging in organized criminal activity on Wednesday.

One the suspects was connected to a taser during his arraignment to prevent escape or an act of violence.

The four are suspected of brutally beating two rival gang members who were invited to the home and beaten.

Investigators said 33-year-old homeowner Yvette Hernandez was also accused in the crime and turned herself on Thursday morning.

Officers reported finding 10 bags of cocaine in her closet.

San Juan police are still looking for Hernandez's 18-year-old daughter Crystal Montelongo.

Anyone with information is asked to call the San Juan Crime Stoppers hotline at (956) 283-TIPS at (956) 283-8477.
