Sexually-transmitted disease leads to Combes teen's arrest

A 19-year-old from Combes was charged with Sexual Assault after he allegedly gave a 16-year-old an STD.
The girl TMs mother contacted police when her daughter was taken to the hospital for the sexually transmitted disease and an infection in her stomach.
The mother said her daughter had a sexual relationship with Joseph Izaguirre.
After Combes police attempted to contact Izaguirre, the 19-year-old voluntarily went to the police department.
He admitted to having sex with the 16-year-old and said that he was unaware that he had a STD.
Izaguirre also told police that the girl could have only received it from him because she had no previous sexual experiences.
His bond was set at $35,000.
