Authorities have shut down three blocks of a street in San Juan while crews work to repair a sinkhole on a city street.
It all happened on the West Chaparral Street on Tuesday morning.
City officials said it all started with gas line repairs.
Recent rains exposed an area of soil where the soil was not compact enough creating a sinkhole under the asphalt.
Public works crews have shut down the 600 to 900 blocks of West Chaparral Streets.
