Sister not losing hope in finding missing brother

Stephanie Garza hopes to hear from her missing brother soon.

It's been 6 weeks since Juan Aaron Garcia went missing.

His family said while this is the longest he's been gone, they're not losing hope that he will soon return.

The 17-year-old was last seen behind his house on the 200 block of Washington Ave.

Mission police and family members have searched a canal located near the teen's home on F.M. 495 and Los Ebanos Road, looking for any clues that might lead them to the teen.

His sister, Stephanie Garza said they've received messages that people have seen the teen.

We are trying to stay positive, Garza said. We don TMt want to think that something did happen to him. We want him to call us to let us know that he is okay. What else can we hope for?

Anyone with information on aaron's whereabouts can contact mission crime stoppers at 581-TIPS.
