Authorities have released a composite sketch of person of interest in the stabbing death of a McAllen taxi cab driver.
McAllen police reported that 57-year-old Luis Saldaa died as the result of the fatal stabbing.
Investigators reported that Saldaa left home in his taxi cab van around 12:15 a.m. Friday.
The composite sketch is that of the person last seen with the victim at approximately 11:30 pm in the area of 10th Street and Houston Avenue.
Police believe that the assault happened at or around midnight Friday near 26th Street between Gloria Avenue and Helena Avenue.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 dollar reward or information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in this murder investigation.
