As expected, Ernesto will be moving more West than North, putting it on a track well south of the Rio Grande Valley.

The impact of the storm will be too far south for any significant weather impact.

Some showers may make their way across deep South Texas later in the week.

The other storm in the Atlantic, Florence, is forcast to stay further north and eventually track east of the Bahamas.

No major tropical threats are expected to hit the area anytime soon.
