A federally-led roundup ended with alleged members of the Gulf Cartel behind bars.

Law enforcement officials split up in teams arrested 12 people in Starr County.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the arrests were all made in connection to a sealed federal indictment.
Authorities have seized and are burning 15,000 pounds of marijuana.
Sources told Action 4 News that HIDTA assisted the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on a long-term investigation that targeted people smuggling marijuana.
Investigators seized $5,000 to $6,000 dollars in cash, which is being processed right now.
Authorities also seized 50 vehicles and about 30 tractors and trailer vehicles.
The 12 suspects are all expected to appear before a federal judge in McAllen on Wednesday morning.
