Three vehicles were involved in a crash at an intersection in Weslaco.
The crash happened around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Mile 12 and FM 88 in Weslaco.
Two trucks and a state trooper vehicle were involved in the crash, and EMS was dispatched to the scene of the crash.
Other Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers arrived at the scene.
According to DPS, a driver of a gray Ford pickup traveling north collided with a brown Ford pickup truck.
The driver of the brown Ford truck failed to yield the right of way, according to DPS.
The DPS unit is not the contributing factor in the crash, DPS spokesperson Johnny Hernandez told Action 4 News.
The DPS patrol unit was stopped at a red light when the incident happened.
The two trucks were towed away from the scene.
