      Store owner tied up, beat with a baseball bat

      La Pasadita snack store

      A Mission store owner was hospitalized after he was robbed and beaten with a bat by two suspects, according to his wife.

      The aggravated robbery happened at 11:00 p.m. on Friday at the La Pasadita snack store near Mile 7 and Moorefield Road.

      The victim TMs wife told Action 4 News a man and a woman demanded cash and beat her husband over the head with a bat.

      The beating caused head trauma.

      The man was also allegedly tied up before the suspects fled the scene.

      The victim is currently in stable condition at this time.
