The school year for BISD students wraps up Friday, June 4th.
But before the final school bell rings, the Speedzapper is taking action to make sure kids are safe outside Burns Elementary School.
The campus is located along 1974 Alton Gloor Boulevard in Brownsville.
School parents contacted the Speedzapper complaining about drivers who don't obey the 35 mph school speed limit.
Motorists caught speeding on radar were driving 10, 15 even 20 miles per hour over the limit.
School administrators said they need police to run radar up until the last day of school.
