An Edinburg man arrested in a drug raid pleaded with a judge to drop charges against his mother.
Both 28-year-old Leeroy Hernandez and 49-year-old Sonia Hernandez are charged with possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Edinburg police arrested both of them on Monday following a raid on the 4300 block of Salinas Street.
Investigators told Action 4 News News that they searched the home after receiving tips of illegal activity there.
Hernandez pleaded with the judge in open court on Tuesday to drop the charges against his mother but the request was denied.
The judge set Hernandez TMs bonds at $95,000 while setting his mother TMs bonds at $45,000.
