Suspects being questioned in south McAllen shooting

A lot of people in a south McAllen neighborhood were frightened after shots were fired on Sunday.

One woman told Action 4 News that she and her husband were in the front of their home when they heard the gunshots.

They ran to the back to take shelter. Now they're fearing for their life.

Several people in this neighborhood are relived they weren't home around noon.

A pursuit that seems to have started on Balboa Ave. ended with shots fired and the neighborhood shaken up.

People were having a hard time getting to their home as police shut down a couple of streets because of the investigation.

Shell casings were found up and down the street neighbors say they heard multiple gunshots, and one 76-year-old man even had an encounter with one of the suspects.

Neighbors said this seems to be gang related.

Two suspects that live at the corner house on Balboa Avenue, and a third suspect that lives on El Rancho St are being questioned.

The pursuit seemed to have ended on El Rancho St., but investigators were still out at the scene, looking for evidence.
