Authorities arrested a Harlingen teen after she allegedly attacked and bit her mother.
The incident happened on the 5800 block of Acacia Street around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Harlingen police took Callie Browning into custody after she hit the victim on her face and back of the head.
The 18-year-old then bit her mother TMs fingers so hard, the victim got cuts from the bite.
Browning fled from the residence, but Harlingen police took Browning into custody at a nearby 7-Eleven convenience store.
The 18-year-old was taken to the Harlingen City Jail for processing and was charged with assault and family violence.
A bond of $2,500 was set for the Harlingen resident.
