      Teen's face slashed outside apartment complex

      Blood trail left behind at scene

      A teen TMs face was slashed outside an apartment complex in Weslaco.

      The 19-year-old was stabbed with either a screw driver or a knife, according to authorities.

      The incident happened around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, after two men pulled up to the apartment complex located on the 600 block of East Sugar Road, according to authorities.

      Joshua Gonzalez was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

      His brother said he was sitting outside the apartment complex when two men in a tan or gold in color Thunderbird pulled up.

      He said his brother TMs face was slashed from the corner of his mouth to his ear.

      Witnesses saw a puddle and trail of blood left behind at the crime scene.

      Gonzalez TMs brother went to his aid, and as the suspects were fleeing the crime scene he kicked the car door causing damage to the vehicle.

      The Weslaco Police Department is looking for the two suspects believed to be in their late 30s to early 40s.
