Teens injured after car plunges into canal south of Donna

Authorities are investigating a rollover accident where a car plunged into a canal leaving two teenagers injured.
The accident happened on Victoria Road south of Expressway 83 on Tuesday night.
Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers are investigating the accident.
State troopers said the teen's car was involved in a rollover accident and plunged into a canal.
Paramedics took both the 15-year-old driver and the 15-year-old passenger to the Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.
Investigators reported that one teen is critical condition while the other is in stable condition.
State troopers believe was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control of the car.
Under Texas state law, the legal age to drive is 16 years old.
It's not clear what the underage driver and passenger were doing or where they were going.
