Tejano artist Joe Lopez's fight for a new trial has come to end.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has refused to review his case closing it for any other appeals.

Lopez is eligble to apply for parole in 2016.
The Tejano star, whose real name is Jose Manuel Lopez, had been fighting for a new trial since his October 2006 conviction.
The 13th Court of Appeals upheld the his conviction on three charges and their concurrent sentences back in May.
Lopez had continued to fight but this week's decision ends his legal options.
