Texas Roadhouse to hold fundraiser in support of boy with no limbs

The boy who's captured the Rio Grande Valley's heart has now gotten the attention of Texas Roadhouse in Brownsville too.
"We were really touched much like I guess everyone else was," Joseph Blanco, the restaurant's store marketer said.
The restaurant, known for its fall-off-the-bone ribs and endless rolls, wants to donate a portion of each check on Tuesday, July 23rd in support of Edgar Pacheco, Junior.
Joseph believes the Dine to Donate program can really help with Edgar's medical needs.
"Just let us know that you're here to help out Edgar and whatever money is on the check we donate 10 percent to Edgar," he explained.
Edgar was born with Tetra-Amelia Syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs.
Action 4 News first introduced the 11-year-old one week ago after his family faced difficulty with mobility due to a lack of proper medical equipment.
Joseph said Edgar's spirit, heart and positivity shined on Action 4 News.
"Edgar's personality and outlook on everything was just great," he said.
Texas Roadhouse will also raffle a $100 gift card for $10 dollar and hold peanut bag sales which include a free appetizer for just $1 with all the proceeds benefiting Edgar.
The restaurant will also reserve a section for patrons who want to have Action 4's Ryan Wolf be their server for an additional $50 donation plus the cost of food.
Edgar gets a kick out of that!
"What's going to happen if people complain about the service with me?" Ryan asked Edgar.
"I don't know," he laughingly said. "That's up to you!"
How much money will be raised is up to the people of the Valley.
Edgar is already so appreciative for the support.
"I Edgar Pacheco invite each and every one of you to Texas Roadhouse in Brownsville to come and enjoy an evening and dinner with me," he said with a smile.
The restaurant is located on 3400 North Expressway 77 in Brownsville.
The Dine to Donate program in support of Edgar runs for 3-10 p.m. at the Brownsville location on July 23rd.
People who wish to participate, either with dine-in or pick-up, must specify that their meal is in support of Edgar in order for 10 percent of that check to be donated.
The raffles and peanut bags can be purchased separately throughout that same day.
To request Action 4 TMs Ryan Wolf to be your server for the additional $50 donation, between the hours of 6-8pm, a reservation must be made by emailing Joseph at firstname.lastname@example.org.
