The Main Event is the newest eat-and-play attraction in the Valley

The Main Event has 26 bowling lanes

There TMs a new place in the Valley to get your party on and its being called 58,000 square feet of fun!

The Main Event is now open in Pharr and this mega play center doesn TMt cater to only the young crowd but grown-ups too.

You could bring the family, said Rob Neagel the General Manager at the Main Event. Have a guy TMs night out, girl TMs night out, anybody that needs to have a night out.. this is the place to come.

It provides 26 bowling lanes, two levels of laser tag, a gravity ropes adventure course, over 100 interactive video games plus, has a full service bar and restaurant.

For those who've experienced the restaurant elsewhere this news couldn TMt be more exciting!

Devin Maldonado, a Pharr resident said, we went to the one in San Antonio, I think last year and it was really cool and you don't really get to see things like that here in the valley."

I wanted to see firsthand what all the fuzz was about.

I began my journey trying out their helicopter 4-D simulator game and loved every minute of it.

The Main Event issued me a little challenge, to complete a 60-second Fun Course and they would then donate $2,500 to the Boys & Girls Club of Pharr.

So of course, I accepted and thankfully completed it.

They came through with their deal and even doubled the amount to a total of $5,000.

But their contributions to the Valley don TMt stop there.

They are hoping to help grow the economy in the region and in fact created 200 hundred jobs hiring strictly local employees.

As for some, they also see entertaining facility as an opportunity to keep kids out of the streets.

The Main Event TMs General Managers said that based on their overwhelming initial response in Pharr, he wouldn TMt discount the possibility to build one in the lower Valley.

For now, San Antonio is set to open their second location later this month.
