Thief on the run after stealing tires from Pharr business

A suspect is on the run after stealing loads of tires from a shop in Pharr.

The owners of the business need your help in finding the man.

The suspect broke in not once, not twice, but three different times over the weekend.

It all happened at Espino's Auto and Tire Shop off of Business 83 in Pharr, and the burglary was all caught on camera.

Surveillance video shows the thief in broad daylight on Sunday, taking up to $3,000 worth of tires.

"He knew exactly where to go and what he wanted," said store owner Dolores Hernandez. "So we're assuming it's someone that might know what we have."

The owners say they do not recognize the man or his vehicle.

In the video, the getaway car appears to be a white Lincoln with one silver rim and one black rim.

The owners of Espino's tire shop are working closely with Pharr police to locate the individual, and the business is even offering a reward for any information that could lead to his arrest.

"Get cameras, security alarms, whatever you can," said Hernandez. "Just be on the lookout, and we'd really appreciate any information."

If you have any information on who this suspect is you are urged to call Pharr police at (956) 787-8546.
