Third suspect identified in connection to Brownsville murder
Authorities have a identified a third suspect in connection to the brutal murder and robbery of a Brownsville.
Brownsville police said 21-year-old Ricardo Mendoza is wanted on a capital murder charge.
Mendoza is third suspect named in connection to the death of Servando Betancourt, Jr.
Authorities found Betancourt dead inside his home last Friday evening.
Brownsville police charged Ramon Alberto Quiroga-Gonzalez with the murder.
Investigators also arrested and charged Federico Hernandez for tampering with evidence in the case.
Hernandez is accused of attempting to pawn items that belonged to the 51-year-old victim.
Betancourt TMs autopsy showed that he died from a blunt force trauma.
Police believe Mendoza is hiding out south of the border in Matamoros.
