A threat against a student prompted a "soft lockdown" at a high school in Brownsville.
It all happened at Veterans Memorial High School off Military Highway around 12 p.m. Monday.
Brownsville ISD officials said the school received a telephone threat involving a student who was on campus.
Officials are not releasing information about the threat or student but law enforcement officers were called to the school.
Authorities enacted a soft lockdown, which means that the students are in the building and going about their daily routine but are not allowed outside.
