Three busted for auto-theft in Brownsville

An investigation led to the arrest of three people, including a teen, linked to stealing a vehicle in Brownsville.

The incident happened June 30th where the group stole an SUV on the 3800 block of Ridge Trail.

Warrants for theft of motor vehicle and engaging in organized criminal activity were issued for Rosa Guadalup Garcia, 22, and Eduardo Alfonso Guerrero, 23, after the auto-theft.

Auto Theft Agents identified Garcia and Guerrero as two of the three suspects.

Police arrested 22-year-old Garcia on the 4300 block of Paredes Line Road.

Guerrero was taken into custody on the corner of San Juan Drive and North Minnesota Road.

Brownsville police said a juvenile was also arrested Thursday, July 3rd for their role in the crime.

Bond information for Guerrero and Garcia is not available at this time.
