Authorities are reporting that three more bodies found in mass graves south of the border in San Fernando, Tamaulipas have been identified and returned to family members.

Mexico TMs Attorney General TMs Office (PGR) reported on Saturday that the bodies were identified at a morgue in Mexico City.

PGR officials reported that the three bodies are those of migrants from the states of Queretaro, Guanajuato and Michoacan.

The three were among 193 bodies found in mass graves in and around San Fernando since early April.

Authorities have made dozens of arrests of Zetas drug cartel members believed to have participated in the kidnapping and murder of bus passengers through the area.

PGR officials report that a number of forensic science techniques are being used to identify the bodies.

So far, only 17 out of the 193 bodies have been identified.
