A Harlingen man is out on bond following a traffic stop where authorities allegedly found that he had child pornography.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers pulled over 30-year-old Ray Gonzalez on Friday evening.

The state trooper reported that Gonzalez failed to use his turn signal off M Street and the frontage road of Expressway 77/83.

According to reports, the state trooper reportedly found sexually explicit photographs of a girl younger than 18 years old on his cell phone.

The state trooper notified Harlingen police, who launched a child pornography investigation.

Gonzalez appeared before a Harlingen Municipal Court judge on Saturday where he was issued $30,000 dollars in bonds.
