Tucson Air Force Base on Lockdown

The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson is under lockdown due to an unspecified security situation.

The public affairs office at an Air Force base near Tucson says no shots have been fired, as several people inside the base had initially reported.

Traffic into and out of the base is limited, and two schools inside the base are under lockdown as well, KOLD-TV reports.

A fire official says two ambulances were sent to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base on the outskirts of town.
