Two arrested after raid in Harlingen
Authorities arrested a man and a woman Friday after conducting a search warrant at a home in Harlingen.
The suspects have not been identified. Harlingen police say they executed the warrant after receiving citizen complaints about the selling of narcotics from a home on the 1100 block of East Polk Avenue.
At about 8 a.m., police seized currency, narcotics, packaging material and other contraband from the home, according to a news release from the Harlingen Police Department.
Investigators also found several packages of homemade Valentine's Day cookies, believed to be mixed with narcotics, according to the news release.
The Harlingen Police Department SWAT team, Organized Crime Unit members and Homeland Security Investigators executed the warrant.
