Two males shot, one dead in robbery, Pharr Police Department says

Suspect 3 was wearing the following at the time of the robbery: Under Armor cap, Rawlings gloves, grey Nike shoes, ½ mask handkerchief.

Three armed robbers invaded a Pharr home and shot two males March 13, according to a news release.

Police responded to 913 E. Dreyer Monday in reference to an aggravated robbery, as CBS 4 News previously reported.

Police believe the suspects were dropped off at the Pharr residence by a fourth and fifth party in a small red passenger car and a Ford Focus passenger car with hatchback of an unknown color.

The three male subjects, each armed with handguns, entered the Pharr residence and demanded money, according to the news release. During the altercation, a 48-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were shot.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital for further treatment. It was reported that the 16-year-old male died Sunday, according to the news release. The 48-year-old male is in stable condition, according to Pharr Police Department.

The three suspects fled the scene on foot and are still at large:

  • Suspect 1 was wearing the following at the time of the robbery: Gray cap, red tennis shoes, black hoodie, blue shirt and black pants.
  • Suspect 2 fits the following description: Bald with handkerchief, light-color jacket, shirt with collar and khaki pants with work boots.
  • Suspect 3 was wearing the following at the time of the robbery: Under Armour cap, Rawlings gloves, grey Nike shoes and a half-mask handkerchief.
