A rollover crash at an intersection in Edinburg has left two people hospitalized.

The crash happened at the intersection of Monte Cristo Road an FM 907 around 10:22 in the morning.

A Volkswagen Beetle and Chevrolet Equinox were involved in the crash on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Witnesses at the scene said multiple agencies responded, including the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Both vehicles entered the intersection, which caused the Volkswagen Beetle to crash into the Chevrolet Equinox, DPS spokesperson Johnny Hernandez confirmed to Action 4 News.

DPS said both drivers claim they had a green light.
